Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drives the development of local, national, and international sales.
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
  • Acts as a liaison between clients and the company, actively promotes services, gathers and exchanges information.
  • Represents the company at industry functions, conferences, tradeshows, seminars, meetings, and when necessary, organizes and conducts client entertainment.
  • Informs clients of updates in regards to policy changes, services and physicians.
  • Assists in resolving client concerns relative to service and report quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Visits physicians as necessary and assist with physician recruiting efforts.
  • Evaluates the results of overall sales efforts regularly and reports these results to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Continuously analyzes the market and competition and identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts sales strategy to changing conditions.
  • Provides weekly, monthly and or quarterly updates as directed.
  • Attends all sales and marketing meetings as directed.
  • When necessary, assists with account collection activity.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business, marketing or sales; or five years related experience in outside sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of disability claims management is essential in performing the required job duties well
 
  • Must be able to divide s 60% office time and 40% travel requirements
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to upper managements' directions accurately
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
  • Uses intuition and experience to effectively market the company's services
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
  • Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and develop alternative solutions when dealing with client issues or emotional topics
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrate team behavior and willing to promote a positive team -oriented environment
  • Must be able to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions
  • Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately
  • Must maintain a professional and clean appearance at all times consistent with company standards
  • Must hold a valid state Driver's License
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common and complex correspondence, financial records, medical journals, and legal contracts and documents
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively to all required audiences and edit own work for appropriate spelling and grammar
  • Ability to respond appropriately and professionally to all inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, upper management, and/or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, in small to large groups, to top management, and/or clients or vendors of the company.
